This last weekend I headed up to Wabeno WI to volunteer at the Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders’ Big Woods 200. An old friend of mine provides SAG support, and also coordinates ham radio operators to provide communications over the course, which is has very poor cell phone coverage.
Since I’m getting back into photography I decided to bring the camera along and take some photos where I could. Each of us has a checkpoint that we have to stick to so I couldn’t get to the parts of the course where all the really good stuff happens. It’s ok, I didn’t go for the photography. Instead I tried to get some decent motion blur shots and whatever else I could.
Getting good motion blur is a lot harder than I remember it being!
True to my old form, out of a 1000 pics maybe 20 are worth keeping?
